Price: From 125 EUR Day (small car) to 225 EUR Day (Large 9 Seat minibus).
Duration & Pick up times: Vehicle can be collected/delivered to you in Utsjoki any time from 11am, but must be returned by 10am the next day, unless you book it multiple days, then it only needs to be returned by 10am on the last day of rental.
Pick up/drop off locations: In Utsjoki, we can deliver the car to your door, anywhere within 10km of Utsjoki centre. This includes Arctic Resort, Hotel Utsjoki, Lomatärppi, Lomakylä Valle, Airbnb’s, etc. It might be possible to deliver the vehicle to Ivalo airport so it is ready for your incoming flight, but this will incur a €250 surcharge because we would have to trailer the car there and back (almost 200km).
Damages There is a €1000 excess in the event of accident, animal collision or tow truck recovery if you crash off the road.
Age limit Drivers must be over 25 years of age

Utsjoki has a unique landscape and it’s nice to be able to have the freedom to get out an explore it. We started offering cars for rent in Utsjoki to enable people who are visiting Utsjoki on public transport or private transfers to be able to get out for a couple days on their own and enjoy Utsjoki and the surrounding area. It’s also a really long drive from Ivalo airport up to Utsjoki and so people would like to avoid getting a rental car in Ivalo and having to do that loooong drive, often in the dark. So it’s a great solution to get the bus up here and then get a rental car in Utsjoki to explore the area in the daytime. All our vehicles are Finnish spec, so they have engine heaters (so they start even in -35°C). They also have studded winter tyres suited for these roads and weather conditions.

We have a few different vehicles available, from Ford Fiesta sized car to 9 seat Transit minibus. At this moment in time, all vehicles have manual gearboxes. If you are unable to drive a manual, let us know and we’ll try to source an automatic. If all our cars are booked already, contact us and we might be able to source additional vehicles.
